You need to bring any supplies you wish to work with, your most comfortable clothes, slippers or cozy socks and jammies, and, if you wish to take a walk, then some comfortable walking or hiking shoes for the outdoors. It’s also a good idea to throw in a jacket or sweater even in the summer since, at an elevation of 8800 ft, we are always a bit cooler than the metro areas. Dressing in layers is a good plan any time of the year. Mornings and evenings here tend to be cool. Summer days will be in the high 70s or low 80s.
Will my cell phone work at Traditions Lodge?
Most do, but some guests have experienced poor reception in the mountains. Please remember to also give your loved ones our telephone numbers. House number is 303-816-7431. Alternative cell phone: 303-909-0170.
Are children allowed?
Unless a special event is taking place involving a family reunion or children participating in a specific craft or project, guests must be 18 years of age or older.
Do you accept credit cards?
We accept Visa, Mastercard and Discovercard.
Can our group enjoy a camp fire?
The air in Colorado is extremely dry most of the year and Traditions Lodge is situated in the heart of a beautiful pine forest. Some of the largest fires in Colorado occurred within a few miles of the town of Bailey several years ago. They served as reminders of how quickly an innocent action can result in serious damage of thousands of acres of beautiful, historic forests. Consequently, open outdoor fires are not permitted. Weather permitting, it may be possible to enjoy a fire in our enclosed fire pit.
